Sarah & Martijn | London | Pre Wedding Session

So while most of you were tucked up in the warm today, I officially crowned Sarah and Martijn the bravest couple in London! It was bitterly cold and warm hats were essential but it was great to meet up with them both in Hyde Park to hear about their exciting April wedding plans. It was great to hear about how Sarah and Martijn met, Martijn’s very adventurous proposal and their recent travels to Sarah’s New Zealand home. I am so excited about their wedding next month, they have some really amazing plans, I’m sworn to secrecy, but I cannot wait!!

Wow Photos Origami Owl - Beautiful pictures! Congrats!

Sarah Em - We had so much fun with Brad, even though it was cold! He is very easygoing and relaxed and had scoped our the park the day before so knew exactly where to take us for the best shots.

Brad Clarke - Thanks Sarah, it was lots of fun, cant wait for your wedding day now!

Dubrovnik | Landscape

Wedding season is almost here, but first…time for a deep breath as Jen and I got away from a cold and grey London for the weekend and headed to the coastal city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, woohoo!

Dubrovnik has been on our holiday wish list for quite some time, and the early January flight sales were too good to turn down. When we booked the flights in January, the first weekend in March seemed aaages away, but someone has definitely got the peddle down on 2013 as this year is absolutely flying by!

Dubrovnik certainly is a stunning city and well worth a visit, indeed, it is rated by CNN as being in the top 10 best medieval cities in the world. Fact. Completely surrounded by a big city wall, you wouldn’t know that in 1991 the city was severely shelled during the Siege of Dubrovnik as the city was in pristine condition.

Word of warning though, when first arriving, it’s also very easy to get lost in the winding city streets, so carry a map. And if you think you have lost the map,  definitely check all your pockets to make sure you haven’t lost it. This avoids wandering around dark alleys when you have actually been carrying the map all along. (Sorry Jen!)

After having a nice bit of Spring Croatian sun, I’m feeling refreshed and excited about the weddings I’ll be photographing in April and May, so keep an eye out for some exciting blog posts coming soon and to all the couples who I’ll be photographing, I can’t wait! 🙂
