Grant Thornton sure know how to throw a Christmas Party!!
With so much going on, it’s difficult to know where to start, but I think it’s safe to say that the GT London team had a pretty good evening at their 2012 Christmas celebrations!
Last Tuesday night they headed under the Victorian viaduct arches at Vinopolis, where a maze of secret rooms awaited them. And what better way to start the evening than with champagne on arrival. A plethora of 1920’s gear was exhibited, with guests donning some fine headgear, stunning dresses and super sharp suits.
Once guests had tucked into canapes, the Trapeze act opened the evening’s entertainment by displaying some fantastic acrobatic skills high above the crowd in Gatsby’s Mansion. It wasn’t too long before the secret rooms were opened to all revealing casino tables, a champagne bar, a chance to dress up for the photobooth, a delicious chocolate fountain and some great jazz singing, all supplied by Contraband Events. If that wasn’t enough, London band The Allstars had the dance floor in Gatsby’s Garden Terrace absolutely packed and for those who wanted to chill there was even a silent cinema. The organisation of the evening was fantastic and if I ever need help planning a party, ill be speaking to Golborne Events as this event was superb!
It really was a great evening to be part of, especially watching guests play “where have we seen that photographer before?!!”
Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013 to All!
