Well, we have all been waiting for Spring to come for a looooong time, and at Claire and Craig’s Stansted Park wedding, Spring most certainly had sprung!
We started off at Claire and Craig’s beautiful home with bubbles and flowers and cats and race horses! It was Grand National day and there was plenty, well just enough time for Claire and her friends to watch the race before heading for a sunny-roof-top-down drive to the wedding venue.
Claire and Craig’s wedding ceremony was held in the elegant Stansted Park and this really is one stunning venue. Wow!! I always visit venues before a wedding to find the best places for photos and when I visited this stately home over the Easter weekend I got goosebumps thinking about what an amazing place this is to get married.
The ceremony was an emotional occasion with some amazing live piano music before and after the ceremony and some very emotional (Oscar winning? 🙂 ) readings. The ceremony room was just stunning too and provided some fantastic lighting in the room for pictures.
After the ceremony and some group photos, which were great as we got some much needed sun on the face, we made the short walk to the Pavilion Tea Room which is such a relaxed and unique place to hold a wedding reception. The Pavilion Tea Rooms are set in the corner of the walled gardens which gave a stunning backdrop to the evening’s festivities. It also gave a great backdrop for photos too with the wine bottles and jam jars on the tea room shelves, some oh so tasty looking cakes on the counters and one cool black and white floor, perfect for dancing on, especially with the v cool guys from the band Blue Juice providing the music.
Congratulations Claire and Craig and thank you for making me feel so welcome on the day. I hope you had a great honeymoon and please do keep in touch!
