Christmas is around the corner, it’s pantomime season, and this weekend I had a great Saturday night backstage with the cast of “The Scarlet Musketeers” in Solihull.
Not your traditional pantomime, it was anything but, the show was a cross between The Scarlett Pimpernel and The Three Musketeers (why not!) and the fantastic script was written by Mark Wynne-Jones, Tim Perkins, Dave Barry and Barrie Bennett of The Blossomfield Players.
I was only backstage for a short while but managed to get some shots of the cast getting ready and celebrating the finale of what had been a great week of shows. There was loads of talent on display, the costumes and make up looked fantastic and there was only one broken glass mid show from a stumbling Hunchback of Notre Dame. Not many people will be able to say they saw that this weekend!
